What Student's Have to Say:

"Last year I did some soul searching and discovered I needed some help with my watercolor techniques. Divine intervention led me to Tracy Lizotte Studios via Instagram, and ever since I've been creating art I'm super proud of.

Tracy is an inspirational teacher. I joined her Art Academy, which is an amazing group of supportive people, and every one of her courses (just like this Mini-Course on How to Paint an Egg) has helped strengthen my skills, both as an artist, and a business woman.

There's so much content in her classes you won't go wrong if you want to learn to manage the sometimes fickle nature of watercolors."

- Paula Millhouse

"Tracy, this was so much fun! I needed a break from drawing and couldn’t wait to try this. You make this look so easy! And you make it clear enough anyone can learn. This is an awesome class! 😀

I will try this one again for sure!!"

- Debbie Stauffer

"What a great little lesson. I love this quail's egg! I can absolutely see making many many of these and creating a series of fabulous eggs. Thank you for inspiring me!"

- Jennifer Serrano

"This mini tutorial for quail eggs was very well documented and received! There were clear and concise directions and demonstrations that were easy to understand and put into practice. Short explanations and demonstrations of techniques prior to the actual painting demos were provided so people with no prior experience could understand the process and reproduce it, allowing painters of all levels, including beginners, to be able to produce a realistic looking quail egg.

Once you know this process for the egg, you can apply it using different colors, different speckle patterns, and other elements to create an infinite number of unique quail egg paintings. This process can even be applied to produce various types of bird eggs.

I already have a number of types of bird eggs coming to mind for me to create besides quail eggs."
